Cutter at COS is the friendliest and most enthusiastic FBO on planet earth. It's impossible to make a request for anything because they offer up before you have a chance to ask. They jump as if to have been shot out of a cannon to serve the pilot and passengers. The bathroom is the spic and span; that means 'clean' for you younger aviators. The crew car was waiting. And the Airplane restaurant is just a few blocks away. And COS is easy in and easy out.

Flew in to Cutter at KCOS June 6 for the weekend to attend a friend's wedding at the Broadmoor Hotel. Met immediately at Cutter by line personal to marshal me in and provide help. I had emailed ahead and all my requests were acknowledged by staff including hangar space for the aircraft given severe weather moving into the area for the weekend. Lineman had my fuel request in hand but suggested the plane be fueled on Sunday to take advantage of weekend fuel discount of $0.25/gal. Plane was pulled to hangar at a very reasonable $35.00/night. Next stop was at front desk where exceptional service was provided by staff there. Broadmoor shuttle operates out of main terminal and staff provided transport from Cutter to the terminal. Severe weather hit before our reaching the Hotel so all help in securing inside storage and prompt delivery of the plane to safe harbor was much appreciated. Flew into COS in a 421 on 8-24-11. Great service, rental car on the ramp, great fuel price. Loaded passengers to leave the next day and I had a dead starter. I asked Cutter if they could recommend a mechanic on the field and they referred me to Alan Spencer with Pro Av. He rushed right over and confirmed the starter was dead. I was ready to accept that we were stranded until a new one could arrive the next day. Alan called his other shop and they happened to have a starter in stock. One of his guys jumped in a 172 and flew it over while he pulled the old one. We ended up with only a two-hour delay, the bill was more than fair, and my passengers were thrilled. Thanks Alan, you saved the day!!!!
