Steven Newcomer
Director of OperationsXSteven NewcomerDirector of OperationsEmailSteven Newcomer is the Director of Operations for Cutter Aviation and is responsible for ensuring all flight operations are conducted safely and in compliance with the Federal Aviation Regulations, Operations Specifications, and company GOM.
Steven grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Arizona to attend Arizona State University. He graduated with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Aviation Management and Aviation Management Technology (Professional Flight).
Throughout his career, Steven has obtained well-rounded aviation experience from past positions including full-time line pilot, Charter Sales Coordinator, Director of Dispatch, ASAP Program Manager, and Drug and Alcohol DER.
During his free time, Steven can be found on the golf course, playing soccer, or going on hikes with his wife and two dogs.

Mike Arnold
Chief PilotXMike ArnoldChief PilotEmailMike Arnold is the Chief Pilot for Cutter Aviation where he oversees daily flight operations, coordinates flight schedules, manages pilot hiring, and directs training and standardization/evaluation of the Cutter Aviation pilot group.
Raised on an airport in the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Mike soloed at 16 and began his flying career as a traffic pilot in Albuquerque. He is a graduate of the University of New Mexico and served as a rated Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force. He is also a graduate of both the USAF Squadron Officer School and the USAF Air Command and Staff College.
Mike’s civilian flying experience spans government contracts, Part 121 airline operations, and Part 135 charter and EMS/air ambulance roles. He has served as a line pilot, EMS base lead pilot, safety representative, and company check airman/training captain on the Cessna 400 series, Pilatus PC-12, and Beechcraft King Air.
He currently flies as Captain on both the Pilatus PC-12 and Bombardier Lear 60, and is an FAA-designated Company Check Airman on both.
In his spare time, Mike competes in dirt track kart racing and mountain bike races in the Masters/40+ division. He lives in Phoenix with his wife and three dogs.
