July 19, 2010
PHOENIX, Arizona – Cutter Aviation is pleased to announce the promotion of David Lohmeyer to the position of Director of Aircraft Services for Cutter Aviation Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX). In this new role, Mr. Lohmeyer will lead both the Aircraft Maintenance & Service department as well as the Avionics department at the location as well as the sales support for the two departments.
Lohmeyer joined the Cutter Aviation PHX team in January 2010 as Manager of Avionics and has displayed his capacity for leadership and development since that time. Both his performance in that role and his previous experience as a manager of multiple aircraft service departments made the decision to transition him into the new role a logical one.
“David has done an outstanding job” said Dennis Constantine, Director of Technical Services for Cutter Aviation. “His experience makes him ideally suited to take on the responsibilities of this position and we are very confident in his ability to lead our operations moving forward.”
Lohmeyer has over 18 years of experience in the aviation maintenance and avionics industry. Beginning his career as an A&P and avionics technician before moving into management positions of increasing responsibility, Lohmeyer knows the unique perspectives of both working with aircraft as a technician and working with customers as a manager. Prior to joining Cutter Aviation, Lohmeyer was the General Manager for CrownAir Aviation in Carlsbad, CA.
