Brief Description: Learn how to operate safely in complex airspace through interface with DFW Center Controllers, in one of the busiest airspaces in the world!
In the morning on the drive to the tour, a light breakfast will be served with juice and coffee. Immediately after the tour, lunch will be provided at our facility for those interested in two brief presentations. Jim Struble of Jackson Walker will address important legal strategies for aircraft owners to consider. Finance Strategies and the State of Aircraft Finance Markets for Aircraft Owner Operators will be reviewed by Steve Smestad of AirFleet Capital. The "Newest, State of The Art, Piper Aircraft" will be on display for perusal.

You are invited to join Cutter Texas Piper Sales for the 2016 Operation Raincheck Tour – your opportunity as a pilot to experience the behind-the-scenes operations of our Air Traffic Control system and learn more about what we can do as pilots to better partner with our ATC teams to improve communication, safety, situational awareness, and operational efficiency in the air and on the ground.
This year’s Operation RainCheck will begin at 7:00am at our Addison facilities were we will take participants to Dallas-Fort Worth Airport (DFW) on Saturday, April 16th 2016 to tour the DFW Center facilities. The event will run from 8:30am to 1:30pm and lunch will is sponsored afterward by Texas Piper Sales, North. Space is limited to 25 participants, so please RSVP today!
In the past, many pilots and owners of a variety of airplane types joined us for Operation Raincheck and their experience levels ranged from low time pilots all the way up to skilled high-timers. Previous tours of the FAA DFW ARTCC/Center Operations Center allowed participants to watch and listen to live ATC activity from the Control Room Floor and also included interactive question and answer sessions. All attendees enjoyed the insightful tour and many vowed to come back for Operation Raincheck at the DFW TRACON in 2016!
